What Our Pest Control Work Covers

Last updated: October 2026

Kentucky Pest Pros provides residential and commercial pest control across Kentucky, including treatments for ants, termites, bed bugs, cockroaches, rodents, mosquitoes, wasps, spiders, and other common pests. A service visit covers the inspection, treatment, and follow-up instructions described in your written agreement. Anything outside that agreement structural repairs, exclusion carpentry, wildlife removal, or ongoing monitoring plans requires a separate written agreement and price.

All pesticide use follows the product label as required by FIFRA. Our applicators hold Kentucky pesticide certification under KRS Chapter 217B, and every product we apply is registered in Kentucky under the same chapter.

Our team follows the EPA Worker Protection Standard (40 CFR Part 170) and OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200). Leftover pesticides are disposed of according to the label, local household hazardous-waste rules, and guidance from the Kentucky Department of Agriculture.

If a treatment touches food-handling or healthcare settings, we also coordinate with the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department and the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services when relevant.

Booking, Rescheduling, and Cancellation Rules

Appointments can be scheduled by phone, email, or through our website. Once we confirm a time slot, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move the visit. Cancellations made with less notice, or missed appointments where we cannot access the property, may be subject to a trip charge.

Before we arrive, please clear access to treatment areas, secure pets, and let us know about anyone in the home with pesticide sensitivities, allergies, or health conditions we should plan around. If we find a problem during the visit that falls outside the agreed scope say, a larger infestation or damage that needs another trade we will stop, explain what we found, and get your written or verbal approval before any extra work or cost.

No scope changes happen without your sign-off. Weather can delay outdoor treatments; if that happens, we will reschedule at the next available opening at no extra charge.

Quotes, Pricing, and When Payment Is Due

We provide written estimates before any work begins. Each quote lists the services to be performed, the products we expect to use, and the total price. Estimates are based on what we can see or reasonably expect at the time of inspection; if conditions on site differ from what we quoted, we will explain the change and get your approval before proceeding.

Payment is due when service is completed unless your agreement states a different schedule, such as installment billing for multi-visit programs. We accept payment by phone, online, or on site.

Recurring service plans bill on the schedule set out in your agreement, and you may cancel future visits with reasonable notice. If an invoice is not paid by the due date, we may pause scheduled treatments until the balance is settled.

We do not add hidden fees if anything changes the price, you will hear it from us first, in plain terms, before the extra charge applies.

Our Workmanship Warranty

Kentucky Pest Pros stands behind the quality of our treatments. If a covered pest problem returns within the warranty period stated in your service agreement, we will re-treat the affected area at no additional charge. The length of coverage depends on the type of service termite work, general pest programs, and one-time treatments each carry different terms, all spelled out in your written agreement before work starts.

A few things can void warranty coverage. These include unauthorized repairs or treatments by another party, structural changes that create new entry points, poor sanitation that invites reinfestation, and failure to follow the preparation and after-care instructions we provide.

Normal pest pressure from neighboring properties or seasonal migration is handled under the terms of your specific plan, not as a warranty claim. If you believe you have a covered issue, contact us and we will inspect and, when the warranty applies, schedule the follow-up promptly.

Limits on Our Liability

Our responsibility for any claim arising from our work is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden damage that existed before our first visit, or problems caused by factors outside our control, including construction defects, moisture issues, or pests arriving from adjacent properties after treatment.

All pesticide applications follow the product label as required by FIFRA, and our applicators are certified in Kentucky under KRS Chapter 217B. Products we use are registered under Kentucky law.

We follow the EPA Worker Protection Standard (40 CFR Part 170) and OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200) on the job. We are not liable for reactions or damages that result from failure to follow our written re-entry, ventilation, or after-care instructions.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow such limits. If you have questions about risk on your property, ask before the service date and we will explain in plain language.

Questions About These Terms

If anything here is unclear, call us at (855) 681-0299 or email info@kentuckypestpros.top. You can also reach us by mail at 300 E Main St, Suite 300, Lexington, KY, United States. We would rather answer a question up front than have a customer surprised by a detail in the fine print.

When we update these terms, we will post the revised version on our website and note the effective date. For material changes that affect active service agreements, we will notify affected customers directly by phone or email before the change takes effect.

Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you have an active agreement and disagree with a change, contact us and we will walk through your options, including finishing out the terms you originally signed.

Daniel Mercer

Service Expert at Kentucky Pest Pros

I started in pest control in the Lexington area, where humid summers, older homes, and crawlspaces make seasonal pest pressure a familiar problem. I built this company to give Kentucky homeowners clear inspections and practical treatment plans, then grew our service area to reach communities across the state.
